NetPilot Wins Web Marketing Association's WebAward

EL DORADO HILLS, CA —  NetPilot Web Solutions recently received an Outstanding Website award for excellence in the design, development and implementation of the Carson Valley Visitors Authority Website (http://www.visitcarsonvalley.org).

The international WebAward, given by the Web Marketing Association, recognizes that the project met and surpassed the standards of excellence that comprise the web's most professional work. Entries are judged on the following seven criteria on a scale of 0-10 points: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use. Each site is judged on each of the seven criteria, earning a score between 0 and 70 points. The highest score in a given category wins Best Web site of that industry. If the remaining entries receive a score of 60 or greater, they receive the Outstanding Website WebAward - which was earned by the Carson Valley Visitors Authority website.

The international WebAward competition's judges represent the various relevant disciplines and are distinguished experts in their fields. Judges include members of the media, advertising executives, top web site designers, content providers, and webmasters. Past judges have included: 3M Company, A&E Television Networks, Agilent Technologies, BBC Worldwide Americas, Boeing, Disney Consumer, Ernst & Young, ING DIRECT, Iowa State University, Mayo Clinic, New York Post, Ogilvy Interactive, Oracle, Ticketmaster, Young & Rubicam Brands, and more.
