NetPilot Launches New Website for Greenleaf Power, Inc.

EL DORADO HILLS, CA — NetPilot Web Solutions launched a new website for Greenleaf Power, Inc. (http://www.greenleaf-power.com) -- a California-based company that is committed to providing reliable green power for North America.

The goal was to emphasize the "green" energy theme, create an intuitive user experience, design a multi-tiered employee login (specific to their different power plants), and showcase Greenleaf's facilities.

NetPilot’s mission was to create a user-friendly navigation system built around an easy-to-use backend, content management system. Site features include: extensive employee login area, automated news/press scroller, and highly optimized pages for search engine readiness.

Greenleaf powers its facilities with biomass material that is otherwise wasted. First, Greenleaf Power collects discarded material from agricultural, construction and timber industries, as well as municipalities. These materials consist of wood products from construction and demolition sites, tree prunings and stumps as well as larger vines, corn and rice shucks. Using proven technologies, they then convert this material into electricity. The process creates carbon-neutral electricity and diverts material that would otherwise decompose in landfills, or be burned in open fires.

Greenleaf Power began in 2010 with the purchase of Honey Lake Power Plant in Northern California. Since that time, the company has added additional biomass facilities in Northern and Southern California and has become one of the largest privately owned biomass companies in the state.
