ASC Building Products

ASC Building Products is a leading manufacturer of high quality metal roof and wall panel solutions for the residential, light commercial, and agricultural markets, which are sold through a network of knowledgeable distributors.

In order to maintain continuity across its divisions, ASC Building Products required a website that looked unified with its other business units, but would also stand on its own. The site needed to showcase the wide variety of high quality metal products they offer, provide an efficient way to find products by numerous specifications, and support multiple ways for customers to order.

NetPilot’s solution began by leveraging the design and framework they created for AEP Span (one of three business units). Careful attention was paid to the navigation and site structure which was overhauled to streamline the user’s experience. We paid particular focus to the product pages making sure the content was easy to digest and well organized, showcasing the products and providing a central place for customers to get specifications, technical information, request a quote, and order product samples. The website’s key functionality includes: the implementation of a custom Product Finder, enabling users to quickly locate products by specifications; and a Distributor Search that helps users swiftly pinpoint the nearest distributors relative to their location.

The new WordPress site is easy for ASC Building Products to maintain and provides a unified look and consistent user experience between its business units’ websites. The resulting clean layout and simplified navigation invites interaction and lends to the modern feel you might experience in one of their structures. And thanks to responsive design, the website renders seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
